In 1988 Temba Safaris was formed under the leadership of Andries Erwee.  Andries has a great passion for Africa as well as sharing his vast knowledge with young people.  Since 1988 Temba also provides up to date information on accommodation in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.  Before the political instability in Zimbabwe, a combination of a Zimbabwe and Botswana tour was very popular.  Temba currently specializes in online accommodation reservations in Botswana and Namibia, including National Park reservations in Namibia.

There are various safari camps to choose from.  You may opt for luxury camps such as the Orient Express Khwai River Lodge or Eagle Island Camp.  There are also more basic yet comfortable camps to choose from to suit your budget.  The luxury camps are mainly in the Okavango Delta, but also in the other National Parks of Botswana.

CAMPING AND self-catering ( self contained ) ACCOMMODATION IN BOTSWANA
There is limited self-catering ( self contained ) accommodation available in Botswana.  If you prefer to camp, Temba will assist with your camping accommodation well in advance to secure the best options for game viewing.  Bear in mind that game viewing is excellent in the dry winter months.

Despite the political situation in Zimbabwe, it is still perfectly safe to visit Victoria Falls which is a mere 100km from Kasane in Botswana.  We foresee that the situation could very well change in the near future and we will be geared up to provide the necessary recommendations in Zimbabwe.
